Maastricht 2011From June 20th till 25th was the headquarters for the World Championships in Coffee Cupping and Latte art, among others. We had our Spanish representatives there, the Spanish Champs Xavi Garcia Iglesias - coffee cupping - and Damian Seijas - Latte art took part and the final classifaction was as follows:

 

 


Xavi García Iglesias - 18th among 34 participantes. The Greek representative Kyriakos Ouzounidis was first, David Walsk Ireland second and Terukiyo Tahara from Japan third. 
Damián Seijas - 15th among 31 other representatives. Chris Loukakis from Greece was the new World Champ, Aurora Aleli Moreno from Mexico second and Ryan Tan from Singapore third.

Congratulations to our Spanish Cahmps. We even had more people from Spain at the Championship, Jon Willassen - Director of IECAFE - was there as a judge having the difficult task to evaluate  these coffee professionals.
